familyBuilder was originally developed to replace the operational systems for the international adoption agency, DILLON INTERNATIONAL, Inc. BDCI worked closely with this agency for 10 months, successfully implementing familyBuilder in August 2002.
In March 2003, THE GLADNEY CENTER acquired a familyBuilder license. Since that time, BDCI has worked with THE GLADNEY CENTER, enhancing familyBuilder to support domestic adoption programs, including Pregnancy services. Custodial care (In-Residence and Drop-In) and transitional care functionality were added too. Extensive operational financial management features are provided for all features. familyBuilder operates in an Intranet environment with full feature SQL database capability. All features are capable of exporting data to MS WORD or MS EXCEL thru simple system provided hyper-links. The data always appears local to the individual staff member even though it may be remote. All parties, within an organization, access the same data. If an address or phone number changes then all other staff see the results of that change immediately. Links to other MS Products permit mass mailers to be created based on results of database queries to provide constant efficient contacts with your clients, whether it be for donation Fund Campaign drives or letters to Families of children adopted from a specific program during a specific period located in specific States, the interface to these MS Products makes communications easy.
LABSTORE was developed by BDCI personnel to support the operational systems for a large drug testing lab. BDCI worked very closely with this lab for over a year and successfully implemented the LABSTORE product. The product is now in production in multiple labs. There is no other product that addresses this fast growth industry that has been identified by the labs we have found via our marketing efforts.
